Maria has 32 plants that produce an average 15-lb. harvest 2 times a week. That makes 30 lbs. x 52 weeks = 1,560 lbs. of Brussels sprouts a year. With an average sprout diameter of 2 in., she uses only 11.2 cu. ft. of her best-in- class* cargo space on the sprouts, leaving 77 cu. ft. for string beans, 23.8 cu. ft. for tomatoes and 18.7 cu. ft. for her sweet corn, i.e., the things that people like.
